Thank you for your interest in volunteering at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust – please complete the form below to tell us more about your initial areas of interest and availability.
We will then contact you to further discuss your interest, suitability to volunteer within the Trust and, if appropriate invite you to attend one of the in-person recruitment sessions.
You must be able to commit to at least 6 months of volunteering for a minimum one session per week and be in your 18th year to volunteer within a clinical setting.
As a volunteer you will not shadow clinicians or participate in clinical activities. Volunteering is not proof of work placement or work experience. References can be provided for volunteers who remain with the Trust for at least 6 months.
Please note, before commencing a volunteer role you will complete a full volunteer recruitment process which includes supplying contacts for references, acceptable ID documents to complete a DBS application, submit a health declaration form for Occupational Health to provide health clearance and complete mandatory volunteer training. The recruitment process can take between 4–8 weeks to complete.
