Free antenatal classes for first time pregnant women
Bump and Beyond
Offer free antenatal classes to first time parents, or those with a gap of greater than five years since their last baby, across East Sussex as part of the Early Help 0 to 19 service. Classes are run by qualified Midwives, Health Visitors and Community Nursery Nurses.
We are currently offering both evening and day classes and actively encourage dads/partners/non-birthing parents to attend.
Classes include information on:
- Labour
- When labour doesn’t go to plan
- Pain relief
- Building a relationship with your baby and communication
- Safer sleep
- Bathing your baby
- Feeding
- Mental health and emotional well being

Baby and Child Resuscitation Training
Would you like to learn what to do if a child stops breathing or chokes? Baby and Child Resuscitation Training sessions are run by the ESHT Resuscitation Department. They are free so please contact:
