Trust gets go ahead to work up plans to develop local hospitals

The Trust has been given £5.05million to work up detailed plans to develop Bexhill Hospital, Conquest Hospital and Eastbourne DGH over the next decade, as part of the second wave funding round earmarked for 2025-2030 in the government’s Health Infrastructure Plan which includes 40 hospitals across England.

Helen Hunnisett, who works as part of the Trust’s Frailty Practitioner Service supporting older people living with frailty to live independently at home, is believed to be the first physiotherapist in the South East trained with the skills to take blood (phlebotomy).
