East Dean Unit has eight Acute and nine Hyper-acute Beds. The unit undertakes 24/7 thrombolysis.
Patients are assessed for their rehabilitation potential and the emphasis is for patients to be discharged to a rehabilitation unit.
East Dean Ward is on Level 3 (please see map).
