Hailsham Ward is a 26-bedded short stay surgical ward. The ward has both female and male patients.
The ward is multi-speciality and covers general surgery, Breast, Vascular, ENT, Max Fax, women’s health and also some urology. The ward caters for the complex needs of patients. There is also two emergency bays, one male, one female, of five beds each for airway patients, e.g. tracheostomy, ENT, max fax patients, who are air way compromised due to conditions relating to Head and Neck.
