Jevington Ward is a medical respiratory ward. There are 27 beds with four side rooms. Patients are aged from 17 years and upwards, although they are predominately elderly, and both male and female patients are admitted.
The ward has an Ambulatory Respiratory Care (ARC) space where many day procedures are carried out, for example chest drainage and pleural effusion. Patients are admitted with a wide range of respiratory conditions via the community and through the normal admission process. Most patients are admitted via the MAU. Patients are often admitted who are holidaying in the area. Some patients are from the surgical wards if they require treatment for medical conditions.
Jevington Ward is on Level 2 (please see map).
